The Android OS has many alternative browsers that provide their own special features to differentiate themselves from one another. Dolphin Browser HD is one of these alternatives and we believe it provides the best experience in the Android line-up.

Browsing

The browsing experience on the Dolphin Browser HD has surpassed what we have expected from Android’s default browser. The rendering speeds for websites with flash are unmatched by any other browser and feels very smooth to navigate. Actions like pinch-to-zoom feel very natural and bear almost no lag. The UI of the browser is straightforward with actions such as the bookmarks bar, with a simple swipe to the right, while the add-ons side bar requires a swipe to the left.

Add-ons

There is an abundant amount of add-ons found through the add-ons sidebar. Some notable add-ons include Ad-blocker, to block those pesky ads, QR share, to share links with friends, and Read-it-Later, to save pages for future viewing, to name a few.

Features

Such features included within the Dolphin Browser HD are a slew of gestures, a password manager, and an RSS detector. Placing focus on the gesture feature in particular, it has provided the most practical take on web browsing today. The feature works by assigning certain motions to shortcuts to bookmarks and navigation tools. This has simplified browsing extensively and has provided an ample amount of functionality to its users.
