Rogers Announces LTE Roll Out By The End of The Year

Rogers recently announced the introduction of LTE service for four Canadian cities by the end of this year. Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Vancouver will become the first four cities that Rogers will provide LTE service with more cities slowly following in 2012. LTE will provide theoretical speeds of up to 150Mbs of download and up to 70Mbs of upload speeds which are tremendous compared to current 3G speeds customer have been accustomed to. Rogers has set up a website, called IwantmyLTE.ca, allowing current and future customers to submit where they would like Rogers to expand with their upcoming LTE roll out.
