The LG Optmus 2X,  one of the first dual-core Android devices to be released to consumers, recently launched in the US market as the T-Mobile G2X.  The folks over at MobileSyrup recently attended an event where they had a chance for a hands-on experience with a handful of devices. One device that caught their attention was the Optmius 2X preloaded with Wind Mobile’s and Videotron’s wallpapers. While only the presence of wallpapers of the two mobile carriers is not a definite answer if the phone will be released anytime soon, the wallpapers do offer strong indications of the possibility.

The Optimus 2X is a very powerful 1GHz dual-core Android phone that sports a beautiful 4 inch IPS LCD screen with an astonishing 8MP camera with the ability to  record 1080P HD video. Based on the specifications alone, the device will most likely be Wind’s and Videotron’s flagship phone alongside the Nexus S which launched almost a month prior. Rumors are also indicating an official announcement will be issued in the coming week.
