Lulz Security, an infamous hacking group that had gained access to Sony’s private servers, reportedly attempted to hack Nintendo’s U.S. servers. A spokesman for Nintendo states the event occurred a couple weeks ago, shortly after the hack imposed on Sony, and fortunately no sensitive data was accessed. From the information gathered, only a small configuration file was released on the internet from the hacking group. Luckily for Nintendo, the hack did not carry the same outcome as it did for Sony when 80 million user’s data was compromised.
