Microsoft E3 2011 Press Conference Live Blog!

The Microsoft conference has started! Make sure to stay tuned to this article for up-to-the secomd news and announcements that are taking place during the press conference.

12:21PM – Fruit Ninja Kinect revealed….. from finger slashing to full hand slashing, sounds very cool.

12:31PM – Call of Duty 3 : Modern Warfare 3 live demo! Graphics look amazing. Very polished with amazing scenery. Gameplay looks engaging and fun. Cant wait.       November 8 2011 is the release date.

12:44PM – New Tomb Raider game live demo. Looks to be a much more darker environment than previous games in the series, that’s not a bad thing. Wooww… I actually really want to play the game, looks great.

12:51PM – 4 of EA Sports game will feature Kinect support including PGA Tour, Madden NFL, Fifa, and 1 unannounced game. Sims 3: Pets and Hasbro Game Night will also feature Kinect support.

12:52PM – Mass Effect 3 will support offer Kinect. Mass Effect Kinect live demo – using your voice to pick your responses during the conversation. You can also use your voice to command your squad.

12:56PM – Ghost Recon: Future Soldier teaser trailer shown. Ghost Recon: FS will support Kinect body tracking and voice control. Showing a demo of “Gunsmith” mode with Kinect – allows you to customize weapons. Showed a demo of first person gameplay using your body to move, aim, and shoot. All future Ghost Recon games will have support for Kinect.

1:03PM – New XBE, Xbox Experience, is shown with full Kinect support. New interface looks much cleaner than previous XBE.  Youtube is coming to Xbox Live. Bing search engine is now seamlessly integrated into the new XBE. Xbox Live TV is going to be finally released! New XBE will be released this fall!

1:10PM – UFC with Xbox integration is going to be released.

1:11PM – Gears of War 3 trailer is being shown. Now a live co-op demo with Ice-T… Gameplay looks epic especially the boss battle.

1:20PM – Exclusive Crytek Kinect game!! Called Ryse. Set in Rome.

1:21PM – Halo : Combat Evolved Anniversary announced. Remastered and HD Halo 1 with co-op over Xbox Live and online multiple. Release date is November 15 2011.

1:22PM – Forza Motorsport 4 announced. Graphics….jaw dropping! Kinect voice and headtracking support. Monthly updates and online rivals.

1:24PM – Fable : The Journey announced! Trailer is now shown. Now live demo using Kinect! Looks to be an on-rails game (no free movement).  Can cast spells and slash enemy using your hands.

1:28PM – Minecraft with Kinect support announced exclusive to Xbox 360.

1:29PM – Kinect Disneyland announced. Basically a live Disneyland for you to explore with mini-games inside the game.

1:32PM – Star Wars Kinect!!!! Yup, its officially shown and looks amazing. From light saber fighting to controlling various vehicles. Live demo now shown. Full-body tracking!!! Game is on-rails, which was kinda expected. You can control objects using the force with your hands! Not sure you can die since the Luke (in-game) got hit many times already.

1:38PM – Sesame Street : Once upon a Monster Kinect announced.

1:42PM – Kinect : Fun Labs announced. Allows for developers to create tech demo’s and indie apps/games and share them on Xbox Live. Kinect Finger-tracking being shown – take pictures of yourself or anything and draw on the screen in 3d. Kinect Item-digitizing is now being shown, scanned plush toy which is now a live character. Kinect : Fun Labs is offered today on Xbox Live!

1:49PM – Kinect: Sports Season Two is now announced. Football and golf demo’s are shown. Coming this Holiday season.

1:53PM – Dance Central 2. Voice support and campaign mode will be available. Also, simultaneous multiplayer mode will be available.

1:58PM – Halo 4……..yup. Will be released Holiday 2012.
