Samsung Galaxy S II Sells 3 Million In 55 Days, Breaks Previous Record
The Samsung Galaxy S II hasn’t even been released in North America, yet continues to set new records. It was just almost a month ago when Samsung announced the S II had sold 1 million units in 22 days, in other words almost 45,500 phones per day. Yesterday, Samsung issued a press release dismissing the S II’s previous record by stating the S II has now sold 3 million units in only 55 days translating to an astonishing average of 54,500 units per day! I’m sure everyone knew the S II would create a ripple when the phone entered the market, but amazingly instead produced a wave. With the Canadian S II release slowly approaching, I advise for erasers to be on hand to correct the present record.
