TechFIBE has got their hands on Bell’s Q3 Blackberry device lineup and it seems to be all pointing to roughly the same launch window, the back-to-school season.
Continue after the break for a breakdown of the devices and what to expect…
While the ‘Late August’ dates maybe subject to change, we can however nail down the release date for the first of the many devices coming out, the BB Curve 9360, which is looking to make its official debut sometime in September 2011. The other devices including the Blackberry Bold 9900, Torch 9860 (Codenamed Monza/Storm 3), and the Torch 9810, all face a late August launch date. We imagine Bell and RIM may seek to delay or spread out the devices to other months, depending on competitor release dates. Regardless, in addition to the HTC Sensation and the soon to be released Galaxy S II, Bell’s Q3 line-up is looking to be one of the best we’ve ever seen.
The higher end devices will feature a 1.2 GHz Single Core processor while the Curve will pack a meager 800MHz. The Blackberry Torch (Monza) 9860 will boast a 3.7″ (800×480) display while the second generation Torch 9810 only gets a 3.2″ display. Our excitement is also directed towards RIM’s latest development of the Blackberry 7 Operating System which will be featured on the Bold 9900, Torch 9810, and Torch 9860 (Monza).
