Here In Canada, online coupon services like Groupon are too and far between especially when compared to the States. Nokia is apparently set to launch their own online coupon service called ‘Nokia Perks’. Navigating to perks.nokia.com (currently offline), selecting the deal you desire, and simply clicking redeem is the general idea to take part in various daily deals. Perks will also utilize GPS technology and create directions through mapping software to aid in your shopping travels. It is interesting to see Nokia creating an online coupon service and coupled with NFC and Ovi Maps technology this could make the service a very efficient and powerful tool.
